Richard Mark Dobson is a photographer and filmmaker with over 35 years of experience across commercial, corporate, and editorial photography.

Trained in London and forged in the discipline of high-end advertising production, his career has spanned continents and industries, producing work that sits at the intersection of documentary observation, narrative storytelling, and commissioned visual communication.

Infrazero represents a deliberate evolution: a concentrated focus on environmental portraiture in cold regions, building a sustained body of work across Northern Europe and the Arctic.
The work explores human presence, the natural world, and the character of place in extreme environments.
The practice is grounded in careful observation, curiosity, and respect. It engages with literature and ideas that illuminate northern landscapes and cultures, translating insight into visual stories that are intimate, purposeful, and informed.
